Stephanie Gasca (she/her) is a mother, organizer and communicator with an array of experience in civic engagement, local elections, and worker organizing. Growing up in a working-class family where both parents were low-wage workers and struggled to make ends meet, she has always looked for ways to improve the conditions of family and community. She found her voice and passion in community organizing and movement communications. Stephanie helped lead the Fight for $15 in Minneapolis to victory in 2017 and passed a city-wide ordinance to raise the minimum wage. When she isn’t busy being a fierce education advocate for her children and a community leader, you can find her studying to complete her degree in political science and enjoying time with her family.
